He mentioned that he often requests people not to recreate or mock it on public stages.               When Ranveer Singh mocked     The controversy originally began when Ranveer met Rishab at IFFI and mimicked the daiva twice, even after being asked not to. The incident triggered backlash online, with many calling it disrespectful. Ranveer later issued an apology on Instagram, clarifying that his intention was only to praise Rishab’s powerful performance in Kantara. He also said he deeply respects all cultures and traditions and expressed regret if his actions hurt anyone. Despite the debate, both actors continue to enjoy massive success.
